Are you interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant?
St. Luke's Health System in Boise is kicking off our CNA Apprenticeship Program (CNA-T) for Fall 2025. The program will be starting September 22, 2025.
Certified Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship:
The Certified Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship (CNA-T) program at St. Luke's Health System is aimed at training and developing highly qualified Certified Nursing Assistants to meet the staffing need in our acute care settings.
Program Overview:
This program takes place over a 6-week time frame. Each CNA-T will complete a 6-week academic program through a local community college in a hybrid model of in-person and online learning. Concurrently, apprentices will build on this learning through a St. Luke's apprenticeship experience through clinical precepting, accented with in-class simulation learning. CNA-T's will prepare and sit for the CNA credentialing exam at the end of the program. Upon passing, qualified individuals will be eligible to transfer to a full time or part time Certified Nursing Assistant position at St. Luke's Health System.
Additional Details:
During the 6 week program you will be hosted by our internal float pool that travels to all 3 Treasure Valley locations. Transportation and flexibility will be required. Each week consists of two 8-hour shifts and an 8-hour class on Fridays from 0800-1630. Friday classes will be from September 26 - October 31.
