Certified Medication Technician (MO)

				Overview:

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medication Technician to join our team at Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center located in Bonne Terre, Missouri.

Responsibilities:

The Certified Medication Technician Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed, documents administration and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com).
* Insulin certification required.
* Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com).
* Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
* Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
* One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
