Overview:
To coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.
* Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required
* Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
