We offer more than 20 specialties and 100 convenient locations; with some clinics offering extended hours. Responsibilities: **Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered** Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment! CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide / CNA) to our General Surgery Clinic located at our Immanuel campus off of 72nd & Sorenson Pkwy! Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, No weekends, No holidays & No call! **CHI Health requires that our Certified Medical Assistants / Medical Assistant must be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) Why General Surgery? * You'll be the bridge between patients and the surgical team, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable and supported. * You'll assist in various surgical procedures, from minor procedures to more complex surgeries, gaining a broad range of experience. * Overall, working in a general surgery clinic as a medical assistant can be a fulfilling and enriching career choice for those who are compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: * Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) * Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA) * Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid * Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
