Overview: UnityPoint Clinics Clinical EMT/CMA/LPN/RN Ankeny Med Park - Urgent Care Ankeny, IA Hours: Every other Saturday and Sunday - 8AM-4PM Full-time + benefits Responsibilities: We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Family Medicine team in Iowa. This position is open to Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN). The Clinical Nurse will provide support in patient care across all ages, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education in a primary care setting. * Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures * Room payients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR) * Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure * Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care * Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups * Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Qualifications: * Current Certification as a Medical Assistant - EMT/CMA/LPN/RN * High school diploma. * BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. * Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.
