Overview:
Assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures in any location anesthesia is provided across Novant Health. Proficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment. Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Anesthesia, required.
* Licensure/Certification: ASATT Certification Required (American Society of Anesthesia Technologist and Technicians)
* Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of
anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.
* Work schedule: 6:30am - 5pm
