Cath Lab Tech III

Working in our fast-moving Cath Lab certainly offers a variety of clinical challenges to Cath Lab Techs who choose this clinical area. We love techs who can wear many hats and think quickly on their feet while providing the best patient care! The Cath Lab Tech III performs duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures.  Demonstrates an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure, and indications for performing each procedure

**Must live within 30 - 45 minutes of hospital for emergency response On-call 8-9 days every five weeks which includes one weekend shift**

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing staff and room activities to maximize productivity
* Operates the radiographic equipment utilizing radiation safety procedures 
* Operates physiologic recorder/database system with expertise recognizing
arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms
* Operates manifold, power injector, and other support equipment (VCR, ACT machines, oximeters, and transport monitors)

Qualifications:

Required Licensure and Certifications:

* Associate's Degree
* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
(RCIS) or Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
* American Heart Association BLS certification 
* ACLS 

Required Experience:

* Minimum five (5) year clinical experience in a hospital setting
