Responsibilities:
As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images specifically tailored for pediatric patients, enabling accurate diagnoses and effective management of their conditions.
Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations on children, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively creating a comforting and positive experience for young patients and their families through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role, you will understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging in a pediatric context, encompassing expertise in child-friendly workflow, age-appropriate patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses in children.
* Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
* Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
* Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
* Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
* Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
* Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

Qualifications:
Required:
* High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
* High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
* Graduate of a Radiology Program, upon hire and
* Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience, upon hire
* Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire and
* Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
* Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, within 90 Days and
Preferred:
* Associates Other, upon hire and
* Expanded IV Therapy Course, upon hire and
* Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
