Responsibilities:

$15,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 educational assistance available to external candidates

* Schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm, weekends on call

Essential Key Job Responsibilities
* This position is a floating Invasive Technologist to hospital locations in Omaha
* Assists with pre-procedure education and preparing patient for procedure
* Scrubs and assists physicians during procedures 
* Performs arterial and/or venous sheath removal utilizing deployment of closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression and transport patients
* Participation in the after-hours on-call rotation is required and staff must be able to respond within 30 minutes of notification

Qualifications:

Licensure & Certifications

* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI. New graduates are eligible for hire and must obtain credentials within 6 months of start date

and / or 

* Radiology Technologist Degree with an ARRT certification
* BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire
* AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

* Knowledge of radiographic views and equipment  
* Knowledge of EKG rhythms and abnormalities
* Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy
* Knowledge of appropriate sterile field management and aseptic techniques
* Knowledge of a wide range of invasive procedure supplies and equipment including but not limited to guidewires, sheaths, stents, catheters, and balloons
