Responsibilities:

The Cath Imaging Technologist is a professional with advanced training in cardiovascular/interventional and special procedures. The Cath Imaging Technologist under the general direction of the Nurse Director shall perform professional functions involved in a variety of technical aspects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* A minimum of one year Cardiac Catherization Technologist or Interventional Radiology experience required. Must obtain Dysrhythmia certification within 9 months of hire.
* Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
* CT RTT CT RTTF ARRT and BLS required
* Intra Aortic Balloon Pump certified within the first year of employment in the Cath Lab.
* Must pass annual dysrhythmias test.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
