Devereux Florida provides intensive therapeutic residential and learning programs and services for children and adolescents. Based in Orlando, FL, this position provides someone with the opportunity to learn about systems of care, treatment planning and discharge planning (which would include community resources). Duties in this role include, but are not limited to: preparation of discharge letters/formal letters sent to external team members; tracking of clinical documentation, time management of treatment team meetings and small team meetings. This position also manages contact lists and additional MyAvatar clinical documentation; may attend court or MDTs on behalf or with a child.

Position Details:

Salary:  starts at 19.50 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)

Schedule: Full time; Monday- Friday 10am-6pm

Qualifications:

Education:

* Must be in Master's program for Couseling/Social Work and in the last semester as this position will transition into a Therapist required
* Must be licensed eligible in the state of FL required
* Must have residential exp required

Schedule:

* Must be able to complete a two-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL and Titusville, FL.

Other Requirements:

* Valid driver's license
* Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen, Physical and TB Test.
* Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
