One California Responsibilities: In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Care Team Access APP-NP is credentialed with advanced training in areas of primary health care for adult and pediatric patients, including, but not limited to: taking health history, performing physical examination and psychosocial assessments, management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provides clinical administrative services supporting Physicians in the clinic location Qualifications: Knowledge of nurse practitioner principles and techniques. Knowledge of methods ensuring safe working environment for patient, family and staff including using appropriate personal protection equipment. Demonstrated ability in the provision of care within field boundaries. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care. Skill in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient information. Ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives and choose an appropriate course of action. Graduate of an accredited schools of nursing. Master's degree in nursing. National Nurse practitioner certification from an accredited association. Must be able to meet credentialing requirements RNP:CA; NPFURN:CA; RN:CA; DEA:CA
