Responsibilities:
The Care Coordination Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the case management team. As a member of the leadership team, monitors and maintains the daily standards of care management.
Acts as and represents leadership when the Director of Care Management is unavailable. Demonstrates knowledge of and delivers case management guidance in accordance with policies and procedures.
Participates in maintaining staff competencies through education, mentoring and role modeling.
Supports the Director of Care Management in interviewing and hiring employees; training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and mentoring/coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with Bachelor's degree OR
Diploma/Associates' degree or equivalent healthcare experience in lieu of degree if the candidate is enrolled in a BSN program and obtains BSN within 2 years of hire
A current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of
Arkansas is required OR Masters in Social Work with licensure
National certification in either of the following: CCM (CertifiedCase Manager), ACM (Accredited Case Manager) required or within 2 years upon hire
Minimum 1 year care management / utilization management experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge in care management and utilization management
