Responsibilities:

The Center for Cardiovascular Health (CCH) at (VMFH) is seeking a talented ARNP or Physician Assistant-C  to join our cardiovascular service line comprising over 190 providers. The position will be based in downtown Seattle at Virginia Mason Medical Center.

Position highlights

* Outpatient Clinic; downtown Seattle
* Inpatient Service rotation; Estimated once every other month; Friday-Monday. Rotating holidays coverage; estimated 0-1 day per year
* Schedule; 4 days/week.  
* No Call
* Compensation Range: $150,200 - $181,900 /year 

*The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner:

* 1+ years advanced practice work experience
* Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.
* Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.
* Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
* Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.
* ACLS preferred
* BLS required

OR

Physician Assistant-C:

* 1+ years advanced practice work experience
* This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
* ACLS preferred
* BLS required
