CHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota that is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. In addition, CHI St. Alexius Health manages five CAHs in North Dakota- Ashley, Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, SD. CHI St. Alexius Health - Bismarck, is a 185-bed, full-service, acute care medical center offering a full line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including primary and specialty physician clinics; home health and hospice services; durable medical equipment services and a fitness and human performance center. Since our founding in 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health has been dedicated to serving the residents of central and western North Dakota, northern South Dakota and eastern Montana.

Responsibilities:
As our Interventional Cardiologist, you will join CHI St. Alexius Health Clinic in Bismarck, North Dakota, and become part of a highly collaborative cardiovascular team dedicated to providing exceptional heart and vascular care throughout central and western ND. You will have the opportunity to build a thriving practice supported by advanced technology, strong surgical partnerships, and a broad regional referral network.
Every day you will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists, and contribute to the continued growth of cardiovascular services across the region.
To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist with strong clinical and procedural expertise, a patient-centered approach to care, and a commitment to collaboration. You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive within a collegial, team-oriented environment.
* Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology services
* Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disease
* Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures consistent with your training and expertise
* Participate in outreach clinics that expand access to cardiovascular care throughout the region
* Collaborate with an established cardiovascular team consisting of three physicians and three advanced practice providers
* Work closely with onsite Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery specialists within the same clinic practice
* Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, cardiovascular surgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
* Participate in the care of patients requiring complex cardiovascular and structural heart interventions
* Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities including in-clinic laboratory, X-ray, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound services
* Practice within a regional referral center serving a population of more than 300,000 throughout North Dakota
* Provide consultative services within a 185-bed Level II Trauma Center supported by hospitalists, intensivists, and multiple medical and surgical specialties
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
* Perform procedures within a cardiovascular program supported by three state of the art catheterization laboratories, including a hybrid operating room
* Utilize EPIC as the integrated electronic medical record in both clinic and hospital settings
* Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, teamwork, and patient-centered cardiovascular care

Qualifications:
* Required
* American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
* American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
* Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program
* Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program
* Valid Nebraska medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of North Dakota
* ND DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
