Overview: Responsibilities: In collaboration with a Physician assumes total patient care for designated patients. Provides cardio-thoracic and vascular diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, and preventative care under the supervision of a Physician or Surgeon. Plans, implements, coordinate and evaluate comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a Physician Assistant program 2 of the most recent 4 years' experience in cardio-thoracic and vascular procedures Licensure, Registration, Certification: BLS Current licensure as Physician Assistant (PA) through the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and Medical Licensure Commission Current Registration Agreement (RA) through the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and Medical Licensure Commission Desired Qualifications: Familiar with the pharmacological effects of vasoactive and cardiotonic drugs
