Overview: Presbyterian is hiring a Cardio Testing Tech to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. The Cardio Testing Tech performs procedures with completed and documented competency, within scope of certification and Presbyterian Healthcare Services policy and under the direct supervision of the provider. These procedures include performing treadmill exercise tolerance tests, stress echocardiograms, and 6-minute walk tests. Ensures patient safety through procedure protocols and policies. Start to cross train in nuclear medicine stress testing and learn to hone their skills and techniques to identify abnormalities in ECG tracings. Obtain and doc routine vital sings. * Perform treadmill exercise tolerance and stress echocardiograms * Perform examination recognizing a variety of diverse types of dysrhythmias and tailor the stress exams based on the type if issues, clinical sings and symptoms to ensure completion of the performed exam * Identify abnormalities during testing * Perform Electrocardiograms (ECG / EKG) * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * 2 years of cardiology / medical experience required * Must pass CCT within 1 year of hire date * Current BLS certification * Must have completed basic Arrhythmia course
