Overview: As our Cardiac Surgical Tech IV at CHI St. Vincent, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you'll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can't operate without you. The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. Our level II trauma center is a regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, behavioral health, cancer care, neurosciences, and other specialties. If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. #hellosurgicaltechs Responsibilities: * Assist the surgical team under the supervision of the surgeon and registered nurse. * Primarily functions as surgical assistant when appropriate (see functions of the surgical scrub and as second surgical scrub). * The surgical technologist will also assist in the circulating duties as delegated by an RN. * Competency to Scrub and prepare For Surgical Procedure * Competency To Assist Surgeons * Maintaining Patient Treatments * Competency to Assist in the Circulating Duties of an RN * Competency to create & maintain a sterile operative field and assist in providing an infection-free environment for the patient We are offering a $5,000 sign on bonus to hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
