What You Can Expect:

* Schedule: weekdays, 9-hour shifts
* On call requirements: one night per week and one weekend per month on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 
* Procedures include right and left heart catheters, PCI, pacemakers, ICDs, Impella insertion, IABP insertion, vascular procedures, loop recorder insertion.
* The Magic Valley team prides themselves on working as a well-oiled machine, striving for the best door-to-balloon times in the state. As a level 1 Stemi-Center with a 4-man call team, the team works together seamlessly to provide exceptional patient care. 

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

* Education: Associate's Degree, or 2 year's additional relevant related experience in lieu of Associate's Degree
* Licenses/Certifications: Must have current certification in one or more of the following areas: 
* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
* Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
* Registered Cardiovascular Technician (RCVT)
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
* Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)

Responsibilities:

* Prepares patients for cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, and other cardiac/electrophysiology procedures.
* Identifies patient and physician needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
* Assists with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician.
* Operates angiographic equipment and special procedures auxiliary equipment.
* Administers medications in accordance with protocol.
* Scrubs, circulates and monitors patients during procedure.
* Collaborate with all members of the health care team to share knowledge, develop skill level, and maintain clinical competency.
* Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, assisting others, special assignments, cleans work area and replenishes supplies.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
