Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians with performance of invasive cardiac procedures, serving as a radiologic technologist and/or scrub assistant, performing hemodynamic monitoring and procedural charting. Assists in the care, transportation and preparation of patients. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Licensure/ Certification: - Licensed in Radiology by the State of Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) - Requires Registry from ARRT - CPR certification required. Other Skills/ Knowledge: - Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of 2 years training in an approved school of radiologic technology required. - General computer knowledge. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Successful completion of EKG arrhythmia course preferred. Licensure/ Certification: - Successful completion of ACLS preferred.
