The Cardiac Assistant is responsible for providing clerical, technical and clinical operations support dedicated to meeting the needs of customers and departmental operations.

Qualifications:

* Education: High school diploma required. 
* Experience: Previous experience in patient care preferred.
* Licensure/certification/registration: CPR certification required.
* Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the job; must remain alert at all times; supportive and cooperative attitude is essential; interest in serving people; has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient's age; has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/he specific needs.
* Physical requirements: Constant walking and standing; finger and hand dexterity to handle equipment a must; exposure to communicable / infectious disease, good body mechanics, occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling of patients.
