Position Summary:   

Creative Associates seeks local experts for the anticipated USAID-funded STEM Pathways Activity which aims to support the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's (MOETE) vision of expanding STEM education concepts across mainstream public schools in Egypt. This activity will provide students with interdisciplinary learning opportunities, project-based instruction, and soft skills development in addition to core technical skills, preparing them for a rapidly evolving labor market.  

Responsibilities:

Candidates with prior experience in one or more of the following areas of technical or administrative experience on USAID- and/or other donor funded programming are encouraged to apply for general interest: 

* STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) education 

* Teacher professional development 

* Curriculum development 

* Private sector engagement 

* Private capital mobilization/Development finance  

* Education policy reform and implementation  

* Labor market forecasting  

* Operations/administrative management  

* Financial management  

* Grants management 

* HR and recruitment experience  

* Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) 

* Knowledge Management 

* Communications 

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

* Bachelor's degree(s) in Education, International Development, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred; 

* Minimum 5 years' experience working in relevant field; 

* Experience working with donor-funded programming, experience working with USAID programming is highly preferred; 

* Demonstrated experience working in Egypt for USAID- or other donor funded programming; 

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; and 

* Fluency in Arabic, as well as fluency in English is required. 

Position contingent upon donor funding. 

Local candidates are highly preferred.
