Overview: At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body mind and spirit of every person in a more comfortable less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services heart and vascular care emergency services surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities: **Sign-on Bonus Eligible** * Receives and distributes communication with patients by the telephone, EMR, pneumatic tube system and in written form. Works with Computrition programs to maintain all records, census sheets, nourishment costs and reports on a daily basis. Maintains current and correct diet orders, menus and database for all patients. * Maintains good communications between patients, nursing and FNS staff regarding patient records and meal service and menu selection. * Participates in departmental Process Improvement programs in the central diet office and develops action plans as needed. * Enters Catertrax for the system locations daily and completes any record keeping as required. * Monitors the system Temp Trak program. Clears alarm and call operation as needed to be compliant. * Calculates eternal feeding orders per policy and procedure. Qualifications: * computer skills * typing skills * high level of mathematical /analytical skills * knowledge of therapeutic diets * ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff * ability to work accurately with details * ability to work with minimum supervision. #callcenter #dietary
