Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
* Assists in achieving desired results through established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high-quality service. Monitor results through inspection, evaluation and analysis.
* Recommends changes in order to achieve and improve the end result.
* Safeguards the assets of the Company.
* Processes/prepares jackpots, fills and credits for table games.
* Prepares currency transaction reports and Daily Cash Summary sheet.
* Verifies vault accountability, credit line availability, establishes/deletes credit lines, and suspends check cashing and credit privileges as necessary.
* Processes credit applications, markers, and related transactions.
* Assists with collection activities, including outside collection agencies.
* Assist patrons in completing credit applications; verify I.D. and banking information.
* Assists with NSF payments, as needed.
* Supervises the duties and responsibilities associated with the impressment, drop, and reconciliation of redemption kiosks.
* Completes duties and responsibilities of cashiers and count team when essential in maintaining operational standards.
* Assists in establishing patron accounts.
* Approves manual adjustments to a patron's account.
* Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of Argosy Casino Internal Control System.
* Responsible for staying current of knowledge and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Cage Department.
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to the Cage Manager.
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:

* Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) in Accounting, Business, or related field; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
* Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
