Who You Are
We are looking for a Cabinet Maker/Painter/Finisher with an eye for detail. As a master of your craft, you will lend your skills to producing cabinets and millwork that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Using the specs provided, you will use their craftsmanship skills to create cabinets that meet very specific guidelines in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
* Applying primer
* Applying stains
* Appling glazing
* Applying sealer, varnish, and top coats
* Sanding
* Touch up
* Read and understand architectural and cabinet layout drawings and create cabinetry that accurately reflects design specifications.
* Read and understand a cut bill of materials and create materials according to specifications.
* Provide the setup and operation of power and hand tools utilized by the cabinet shop such as table saws, shapers, nail and staple guns, routers, belt sanders and spray paint guns.
* Operate specialized computer operated large power equipment such as CNC routers, Beamsaw, Edgebander, dowel machine, if required by job assignment.
* Prepare and packagesfinished product for shipping.
* Identify issues or conflicts in specifications and drawings and bring them to the attention of management for resolution.
* Perform clean up and organization of storage, tool crib and shop floor areas. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Operate and follow all safety rules and provides coaching and reminders to peers in following safety and procedures of the department.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Advanced knowledge of spray finishing techniques
Experience using spray equipment and spray booth operation and maintenance
Experience in wood stainining, painting, and finishing
Understanding of necessary mathematics
Knowledge of materials and processing
Attention to detail
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:
* Lifting safely
* Standing while working
* Bending, stooping, reaching, stretching
* Pushing, pulling
* Carrying
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a wood shop environment. Hazards include, but not limited to cuts, severed or crushed fingers, sawdust, chemical exposure, loud ongoing sounds. Occasional travel to outside locations to get materials or deliver product. Ability to work extended hours, as required, in support of the company's business needs.
