CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. Are you a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist ready to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting? CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a passionate professional to join our team!

In this vital role, you will provide high-quality Computed Axial Tomography (CT) procedures, contributing directly to accurate diagnoses and patient well-being, all while upholding the mission and philosophy of our facility.

As a CT Tech, You Will:

* Perform Advanced Imaging: Masterfully execute high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures, ensuring technical precision and evaluating images for optimal quality.
* Expert Positioning & Protocols: Utilize your knowledge of patient positioning for all exams and demonstrate proficiency in all CT exam protocols.
* Manage Contrast Administration: Evaluate imaging orders for contrast use, skillfully administer contrast materials (including IV placement and power injector operation), and dispense oral contrast.
* Prioritize Safety & Care: Ensure the highest standards of radiation safety and deliver exceptional patient care throughout every procedure.
* Maintain Operational Excellence: Keep accurate patient records, uphold HIPAA standards and confidentiality, monitor inventory, stock the CT room, and maintain a clean, disinfected work area.
* Contribute Beyond Imaging: Proficiently perform EKGs, participate in on-call duties, conduct routine equipment maintenance, and assist with gathering QA data.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

* Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Required Certification:

* Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Proficiency in Radiographic and patient care skills, as obtained through an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
* Effective communication skills.
* Competence in computer and clerical skills.
* CT-Specific Knowledge: Ongoing education demonstrating knowledge of CT, including radiation protection and minimization of patient radiation exposure.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
* 1 year of clinical experience.
* Prior Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience.
