One California Responsibilities: As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care. * Responsible to perform quality procedures using the appropriate CT department routines. * Must be able to perform all examinations using all the CT equipment. * Selects and uses proper immobilization and supportive devices when necessary. * Demonstrates knowledge of the anatomy associated with each exam. * Participates in PDCA quality improvements for the Imaging Department. * Performs exams in a timely manner so patient care is expedited as quickly as possible for turn around time. Qualifications: Required * 1 year acute hospital imaging procedures * Medical Radiographer: CA * Basic Life Support - CPR * Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT Preferred * 1 - 2 years CT experience * Expanded IV Therapy Course * Registered Technologist Computed Tomography
