Responsibilities:
As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
* Performs CT exams
* Prepares equipment
* Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure
* Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
* Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested
* Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Dioloma/GED required
* Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R) upon hire or transfer
* Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (CT) within 9 months of hire or transfer
* Certified by the state of Texas ‐ MRAD upon hire or transfer
* BLS-CPR, 14 day grace period
