What You Can Expect:
* Schedule:
* Full time weekday night shift
* Call available but not required.
* Average 18 exams/day with a mixture of outpatient, ED and inpatient.
* 5 CT Technologist on the team.
* Equipment: Siemens Somatom Definition AS.
* Cross training available!
* Rotation from hospital setting to an Urgent Care setting using Equipment: CareStream, Siemens Agile Max with 2 Portable x-ray units, 1 General Radiology room, 1 Fluoroscopic/Rad room

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
* Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
* Computed Tomographic (CT) certification.
Responsibilities:
Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury using a CT scanning device according to protocols established by radiologists.
* Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and nurses that are specific to the exam being performed in order to assist the provider in the proper diagnosis.
* Educate patient, family or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, including informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions.
* Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Consult ordering provider as needed.
* Assist provider during invasive procedures.
* Administer oral and IV contrast prior to procedures.
* May assist in training of CT students.
* Maintain proper inventory levels of all supplies as required.
* Perform daily equipment inspections. Participate in call rotation as needed.
* Practice guidelines specific to ALARA policy (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
