One California Responsibilities: The Special Procedures Technologist II performs general radiographic procedures as well as at least two other imaging modality, CT, Angiography, Mammography, and Breast Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry or MRI. As a Diagnostic Imaging Special Procedures Technologist, you will be a central figure in our advanced imaging team, expertly performing complex diagnostic and interventional procedures using various imaging modalities to obtain critical diagnostic information. You will play a vital role in patient care, ensuring technical precision, radiation safety, and patient comfort. Every day, you will meticulously prepare procedure rooms, operate advanced imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, angiography), administer contrast safely, and assist physicians during intricate interventions. You will also provide essential patient education, monitor conditions closely, maintain meticulous records, and perform daily quality assurance, strictly adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. To be successful in this role, you will combine ARRT certification, specialized advanced certification (e.g., CV, VI, or CT), and a profound understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and procedural imaging. You will demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail, thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, precise special procedures imaging. Qualifications: Required * Three yearsexperience in an Imaging Department. and * One year experience in CT * Medical Radiographer: CA * Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA * Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT * Basic Life Support - CPR
