We're looking for a strategic and hands-on CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead Windstar's end-to-end customer journey - from first interaction to loyal repeat guests. You'll be the architect behind our email and lifecycle marketing efforts, using HubSpot and a modern tech stack to build smarter, more personalized campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Campaign Execution:
* Own and execute Windstar's CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy across all stages of the guest journey - from lead to loyalty.
* Develop and deploy data-driven campaigns including welcome series, re-engagement, upsell, retention and promotional initiatives.
* Manage the strategy and deployment of non-booked lead communications to drive conversion - such as promotional offers, engagement emails and abandoned search workflows.
* Design and build email templates using industry best practices and coding standards.
* Manage the end-to-end deployment process, ensuring flawless execution across different email platforms and devices.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, loyalty, creative, analytics, and digital) to align messaging and timing.
* Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices to maintain high deliverability rates and protect sender reputation.
Automation and Personalization:
* Build and manage multi-step email workflows and trigger-based campaigns in HubSpot and other tools.
* Leverage behavioral data and customer signals to deliver dynamic, personalized content across segments.
* Collaborate with IT and analytics to enhance integrations, lead scoring, and funnel tracking
Testing and Optimization:
* Design and implement A/B tests and multivariate testing strategies across subject lines, content and send times
* Track performance and identify opportunities to improve key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
* Analyze campaign results and provide recommendations to continuously improve results.
Performance Reporting and Insights
* Build and maintain basic performance reports in HubSpot to monitor email performance, workflow engagement, and list growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional analysts to surface key insights that inform testing, segmentation, and campaign planning.
* Regularly audit data quality and CRM hygiene to ensure clean, actionable audience lists.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* 5+ years of CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing experience - ideally in a travel, hospitality or e-commerce brand.
* Expertise in Hubspot and basic knowledge of CDPs
* Basic HTML/CSS knowledge with the ability to build and customize email templates beyond standard drag-and-drop editors
* Experience partnering with creative teams and briefing effective, brand-aligned assets.
* A data-first mindset, with experience using segmentation, customer journeys, and lifecycle analytics to drive business growth.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, engaging email content that resonates with the target audience.
* Knowledge of email deliverability best practices, compliance regulations, and anti-spam laws.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
