Saco Bay Kids is seeking an outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Auburn, ME

Our outpatient pediatric center in Auburn is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patirent care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. 

You will be joining a dedicated and experienced team of therapists to provide treatment to our pediatric population.  Numerous oportunities for continuing education and mentorship.  This is a newly renovated clinic with state of the art equipment. Pediatric experience is preferred. New grads are encouraged to apply if they have done a pediatric rotation.

Our 12 person team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs, offer a comprehensive list of therapy programs and services all under one roof. Our programs include but are not limited to; orthopedics, pediatrics (PT & OT), adult and pediatric speech language pathology, pelvic floor therapy, sports medicine, dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, hand therapy, ReVital cancer rehabilitation, and so much more. Want to work with college level athletes? We offer this opportunity as well, with our local collegiate contract. Our large facility offers private treatment rooms, a large gym space, and a friendly and supportive staff and team. We are proud to offer state of the art equipment such as AlterG anti-gravity treadmill, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization tools, and Game Ready ice machines to name a few. Schedule:  Monday through Friday

Compensation:  Hourly rate starting at $20/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:

* Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
* Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
* Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
* Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
* Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
* Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications:

* Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
* National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
* Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
* Valid state driver's license
