Overview: PRN - Per Diem Inpatient Acute Care Occupational Therapy Assistant HealthWorks Rehabilitation and Fitness Mon Health, Morgantown, West Virginia HealthWorks Rehabilitation and Fitness in Morgantown, WV has been the inpatient rehabilitation provider for Mon Health more than 25 years. This is a 188 bed inpatient hospital seeking local PRN or per diem occupational therapy assistants (COTA) for as needed coverage. We have a large multidisciplinary clinical team in need of coverage for vacation, sick, census influx or emergencies. There is no set schedule with PRN/ per diem. We are looking to build a local per diem pool of inpatient occupational therapy assistants. Our hospital is open year-long including most holidays. Position Summary Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
