Responsibilities:
The Corrosion Control Technician will provide and coordinate a consistent Corrosion Prevention and Control policy.
Work Model: Onsite
Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Develops, documents, and maintains the Corrosion Prevention and Control Plan.
* Coordinates and documents material selection guidelines for corrosion protection/avoidance.
* Coordinates the documentation of corrosion design guidelines.
* Coordinates Corrosion Prevention policies and procedures with policies and practices.
* Reviews corrosion test results for process/finish material qualifications.
* Establishes corrosion test requirements for procured items.
* Establishes and maintains team-common process/finish requirements.
* Resolves any impasse in determining the preferred process/treatment method for corrosion control at site.
* Maintains a log of problems, action items, corrective actions, and status.
* Coordinates and interfaces with government program office.
* Other duties as assigned.
