Responsibilities:
The Construction Manager position is responsible for providing full title 2 construction management inspection services for the AFCAP storm repair program. The purpose of this project is to provide construction oversight for the facility repair and restoration from Hurricanes Helene and Milton for the 6th Civil Engineer Squadron for the period of 365 days (one year). This contract is contingent on contract award.

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Assists the AFCAP contracting officer (CO) and contracting officer representative (COR) in conducting submittal review and construction inspections.
* Participates in construction contractor led meetings in support of the 6 CES project manager to track the design/construction progress and inform the Government of any issues impacting design/construction activities.
* Prepares updates/summaries of attended construction contractor meetings.
* Typical construction contractor meetings include but are not limited to:
* Progress Meetings.
* Design Review Meetings.
* Construction review Meetings.
* Prepares reports, presentations, and other correspondence.
* Provides technical expertise to the Government in specified meetings with Subject matter expert-level knowledge.
* Participates in meetings to evaluate program and project level activities for the PMO/NDR.
* Captures and delivers minutes of the meetings upon request.
* Proves resources knowledgeable in architecture and engineering to ensure effective meetings with customers, regulators, engineers, and the public, as applicable.
* Facilitates meetings by assisting the Government in creating agendas, delivering technical presentations, making recommendations for technical issues and providing meeting minutes.
* Schedules, organizes, and conducts meeting that include, but are not limited to the following:
* Coordination Meetings.
* Staff Meetings.
* Project and Program Reviews.
* Performs related work as assigned.
