*CNA or Nurse Apprentice Summer 2025 Opportunity*

Temporary Summer opportunity with our Meridian Med Surg units

Meridian Med Surg 5 focuses on postoperative patients recovering after orthopedic, Spine, Plastic Reconstructive, urological or general surgical procedures, patients with medical diagnoses.

Meridian Med Surg 6 is focused on the care of adults with a variety of medical diagnoses, including diseases or disorders of the pulmonary, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine, circulatory, and neurological systems, as well as infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders, and patients with surgical needs.

What you can expect from this role

* Flex, Part Time, and Full-Time Night Shifts Available
* Shift differential pay offered
* Please note some units may require at least one 12 hour shift per week after the Summer.

Qualifications: CNA 

Licenses/Certifications:

* Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
* American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice 

Licenses/Certifications: 

* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditations)
* Experience: 0 years experience
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing . The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
