Responsibilities:
4th Floor Medical Surgical:
The 4th Floor Medical Surgical unit at St. Anthony Hospital, an achieved Magnet(r) hospital, is a medical/surgical telemetry unit of 36 beds and is primarily a telemetry unit with medical/surgical overflow. Our typical patient population includes heart failure, pre and post-cardiac catheterization, abnormal arrhythmias, vascular surgery, TAVRs, ablations, and other cardiac patients. Our mission is to provide the highest level of quality, patient-centered, and safe care to all patients who come through our doors while also creating an atmosphere that is fun, exciting, and engaging to work in. We foster a positive team environment through regular team-building activities, celebrate successes with monthly recognition events, and encourage professional growth through continuing education opportunities.
Working on the 4th floor of the hospital provides nurses with an environment that is team-focused, supportive, and adaptable to the changes in healthcare. We seek individuals who have a vested interest in our department and its mission. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and be hardworking, dedicated, and accountable.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
* Six months previous CNA experience preferred
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
* Basic computer skills
* Previous customer service experience preferred
* High School diploma or GED required
* Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
* State registered CNA license required
* Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
