Responsibilities:

Here's a peek at what you'll do as a CNA:

* Start your shift by checking in with the CNA leaving to learn about your patients.
* Check on patients every hour, taking their vitals, updating their whiteboards, and helping them as needed.
* Help patients walk around, whether it's to a comfy chair, the bathroom, or down the hall. You'll also help patients who are going home safely to their cars.
* Assist patients with personal care like bathing. This could be a full bed bath, helping them with a bath, or getting them towels and soap.
* Work with the nurse during tube placements (like NG tubes or catheters). You might hold a cup of water, gently hold the patient, hand the nurse supplies, and clean up afterward.
* Help the nurse with wound checks or changing bandages. You might hold the patient or supplies, and help with cleanup.
* Make sure beds are fresh, check patient weights, and do other important tasks each day.

Work Schedule Info: We work 12-hour shifts (630AM-7PM) to give our patients great care. This means you'll work every third weekend and have rotating holidays, giving you more days off during the week!

Qualifications:

What you need to join our team:

* Be at least 16 years old.
* Successfully finished the 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant course.
* Have an active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in Nebraska.
* Hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
