Responsibilities:

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will play an essential role in providing compassionate, hands-on patient care. Working under the direct supervision of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), and/or Nurse Management, you will assist with basic patient care, observations, and diagnostic services to support the well-being of patients in your unit.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
* Monitor and report patient conditions, vital signs, and any changes in status to the nursing team.
* Support the nursing staff in carrying out hospital policies and procedures to ensure quality care.
* Provide a safe and comfortable environment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall patient experience.

Qualifications:

* Current CNA Certification 
*  Basic Life Support Certification issued by The American Heart Association 
* Experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at an accredited acute care hospital or health care facility preferred. 
* Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA) certificate is preferred.
