				Overview:

St. Luke's Health System in the Treasure Valley is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join our In Home Health Mobile unit.

What You Can Expect:

* Full Time 1.0 FTE - Mon-Thursday 0700-1530 or 0830-1700 Variable and Friday's are 0830-5pm (this is always variable or subject to change)
* There is also on-call, weekend rotations, and rotating Holidays.
* Assists nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas. Performs other skills/tasks as identified by the unit/department that require a unique body of knowledge/skills
* Will train and cross over internally with Lab Dept. partnership. This position serves a dual purpose of Mobile Phlebotomy and Aide which will require willingness to function as a phlebotomist in the community
* Requires use of a personal vehicle and or fleet car, ability to work semi- autonomous under the direction of leaders and the interdisciplinary team; ability to adapt to a changing environment; willingness to work during inclement weather; care is provided in the community and home setting outside of the traditional facility environment
* Moderate proficiency with technology, organized, and able to adjust to change; effective with time management

Qualifications:

* Education: No Education Required
* Experience: 6 months experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice or a Nurse Apprentice Letter and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2, assists nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas. Performs other skills/tasks as identified by the unit/department that require a unique body of knowledge/skills.

* Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
* Documents information in patient record.
* Performs various direct patient care activities under direction of licensed patient care provider.
* Communicates information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care.
* Assists physicians and other nursing staff members with procedures as appropriate.
* Performs tasks and procedures as ordered by the physician or licensed provider consistent with approved protocols, policies, and procedures.
* Performs tasks that require a unique body of knowledge and skills for that area of service.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
