* Schedule: 7am - 7pm, Day Shift, Full-Time (Shift Differential for 2:30p- 7:15p)
* Department: Emergency Room
* Location: NHRMC New Hanover Regional Medical Center
Responsibilities:
Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience: One year, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Completion of NA I and NA II programs, required. NA registry as NA I in good standing. Current NA II certification with state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
* Additional Skills (required): BON Health Care Provider. Medication Safety - AME
* Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
