Overview:
Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Location Details
* Location: 2000 Hospital Dr Mount Pleasant, South Carolina 29464
* Schedule: Full Time
* Shift: Three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend. [Nights]
Responsibilities:
* Provides direct patient care, including ADLs, mobility, positioning, feeding, and toileting.
* Obtains and documents vital signs, blood glucose, intake/output, and other patient measurements.
* Performs approved CNA II clinical procedures, including catheter, IV, wound, ostomy, tracheostomy, suctioning, and oxygen-related care.
* Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transportation.
* Reports changes in patient condition promptly to the nurse.
* Maintains patient safety, infection-control standards, and a clean care environment.
* Collaborates with the nursing team to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
* Education: High school diploma or GED required.
* Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
* Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
* Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
