Work Schedule: 7a-7p or 7PM until 7AM

Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities:
* Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical observations.
* Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and personal care.
* Monitor patient condition and promptly report abnormal findings to the Registered Nurse.
* Support infection prevention practices and patient safety initiatives.
* Stock patient rooms, perform basic equipment maintenance, and maintain unit readiness.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to meet departmental and hospital goals.
* Provide compassionate, customer-focused care in fast-paced acute care environments.
* Float to comparable units including ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Inpatient Rehab as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: High school diploma or GED required.
* Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
* Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required.
* Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
