Overview:
* Schedule: 7A-7P, part-time (24 hours), every third weekend & holiday rotation required. This unit self-schedules.
* Department: Family Care Unit (Mother/Baby)
* Location: Forsyth Medical Center - Winston-Salem, NC
* Unit Information: The unit cares for post-partum moms & babies (couplets)
* Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience: 1 year of experience, preferred. 1 year of Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, reuired.
* Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
* Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
