Job Title: CNA - Intermediate Critical Care
Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC
Department: Intermediate Critical Care Unit
Schedule: Part Time, Nightshift (7pm - 7am)

Our Intermediate Critical Care Unit is a 20 bed unit that specializes in stepdown care. We serve a population that includes but in not limited to sepsis, diabetes, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with non-invasive respiratory support, stable tracheostomy tubes not requiring mechanical ventilation. Our preferred patient ratio is 3:1, sometimes flex to 4:1.

Qualifications:
* Education: High school diploma or GED required.
* Experience: One year preferred.
* Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
* Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
