* Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA 1
* Schedule: 7am-7pm, Full- Time, Day Shift
* Department: Specialty Care Unit
* Location: Kernersville Medical Center - Kernersville, NC

As a Certified Nursing Assistant in our 20-bed Intermediate/Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill and medically complex patients. In this fast-paced environment, you'll perform continuous assessments, manage advanced monitoring and life-support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience:
* One year preferred.
* One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.

* Licensure/Certification:
* Completion of NAI program, required.
* Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
* Medication Safety - AME, required.
* NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

* Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
