Overview:
* Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA 1
* Schedule: 7am-7pm, Full Time, Day Shift
* Department: - Skilled Nursing Facility
* Location: Community Hospital of Stokes - Danbury, NC
Responsibilities:
Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Assisted Living units only: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and reporting any change in status to the Charge Nurse
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience: 1 year of experiece in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
* Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required.
* Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
* Medication Safety - AME, required.
* NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
* Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
