Position Overview
As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play an essential role in providing direct, hands-on care to patients in the comfort of their homes. You will work closely with patients, families, and the hospice care team to provide quality and personalized care that addresses both physical and emotional needs.
This role requires a compassionate professional who can work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a deep passion for caring for end-of-life patients.
What You Can Expect:
* Traveling and providing in home care to patients within the Treasure Valley
* The schedule is Monday - Friday generally from 8:30am - 5:00pm with rotating weekends.
* Document information in patient's record
* Perform various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients
* Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education
Qualifications:
* Education: No Education Required
* Experience: 6 months of experience
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
