We are currently hiring for part-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) positions in Primary Care and Specialty Clinics throughout the Treasure Valley. These positions offer flexibility in terms of location, specialty, and shifts, allowing you to find a role that aligns with your professional and personal goals.

What you can expect from this role

* Part-time openings available at multiple locations in the Treasure Valley, across both Primary Care and Specialty Clinics
* You are required to work a full shift (~8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) on your designated workday.
* Flexible schedules with hours typically available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

CMA Qualifications

Education

* High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications

* Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA

LPN Qualifications

Education

* Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program

Certifications

* Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Current Licensed Practical Nuse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice

Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant 2 is responsible for assisting licensed providers with patient care. Has working knowledge and skills developed through formal training. Works within established policies and procedures.

* Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
* Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Sterilizes, cleans, and performs checks on medical equipment.
* Prepares patients for examination.
* Provides technical, clinical, and clerical support to licensed independent provider.
* Performs medical procedures within scope of roles and responsibilities.
* Processes prescription medication for refill under the supervision of a licensed independent provider.
* Assists licensed independent provider in patient exams and office procedures.
* Prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens.
* Enters diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Experience: 0 years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
