Responsibilities:
The CHI Pine Hurst Clinic is looking for a PRN CMA to join the team!
The Certified Medical Assistant plays a key roll in the delivery of patient care. They implement individual patient care documents in the clinic according to established practice protocols, policies and procedures. The RMA assists physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in clinical duties to ensure patients and families receive the highest quality care and knowledge promoting patient wellness. The RMA will practice nursing in accordance with the North Dakota Nurse Practice Act and the limitations of their scope of practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Utilizes the nursing process to assist in implementing the plan of care for the patient/family which promotes optimal patient outcomes
* Meets the educational needs of coworkers and patient/family utilizing principals of teaching/learning
* Provides care based on knowledge qualifications/competency and patient care requirements
* Successfully completed the defined job specific competencies, including competency for age specific, as appropriate
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Program.
Licensure: Registered with the North Dakota Board of Nursing as a UAP. CPR certified, within
480 days of employment
Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year clinical or hospital experience
